Located on the Tibetan Plateau is a beautiful lake named Puma Yumco. Lake Puma Yumco, a 32 km long and 13 km wide, might be one of the most remote lakes on earth. this lake is formed by the melting ice from the mountain around it- it has a bright blue looking from above earth… Lake Puma Yumco translated as “The Blue Jewel which is floating in the sky”.
The awesome point about Puma Yumco is crack crust of uniform ice when viewing above earth during winter. The block pattern developed by repeated freezing, cracking, and refreezing due to temperature and wind-induce motion.
